SpamStop stopped 500 possible spammers.

The Spamstop plugin for blogCFC I wrote a while ago seems to be working great.

It has just handled it's 500th session. This means that over 500 sessions were started by clients whos ip address is listed with the Project HoneyPot.  They are (or were, but still not considered safe by the plugin's settings) known comment spammers, email harvesters or are considered suspicious.

Soon after I installed the plug-in I turned off captha's on this blog  to see what would happen. The result so far ?  Exactly one (1) spam comment.

Very good mate. I've just installed it on my 5.5.1 version of BlogCFC (I know, being to lazy to update)

And it works like a charm.

Thanks for that. I'll also disable my captcha to see what happens.

    Cheers
